Donald Eulert
Donald Eulert was a Native American poet and psychologist who had previous magazine publishing experience to help James Bull establish American Haiku in 1963. He went on to publish seven books of poems, translating two books of Romanian poetry, study at the Jung Institute in Switzerland, and to create the Center for Integrative Psychology in California. He held the distinction of being accepted to the Jung Institute as a poet and not a psychologist. Later in life he focused on teaching psychologists how to lose their ego when practicing through the art of writing haiku.
